Through our Okapi and Envision curriculums the students will develop a knowledge and appreciation for biliteracy and a life long love of learning.

Our Kindergarten goals are to promote biliteracy, develop Spanish vocabulary, Spanish reading skills, Math skills while building a comfortable, safe, accepting, caring classroom environment.

Our Kindergarten program has a program allocation of 90/10, with all contents taught in Spanish and a focus of Social Emotional Learning in English. As a Spanish Literacy and Language teacher, we utilize Adelante: Benchmark as our core instructional resource, but also utilize Okapi: Shared & Guided Reading Spanish Supplemental resources, to support students individual learning. We also utilize Estrellita's as a supplemental resource to support developing students Foundational Skills. Our site also utilizes Rockalingua and RazKids Espanol as online digital Spanish literacy resources.
